London Fog Industries, Inc., parent company of Pacific Trail, Moonstone, Black Dot, London Fog and the London Fog Factory Outlet Stores, has appointed 20-year textile industry veteran David Greenstein as its new CEO. Greenstein’s home textile business, formerly known as Homestead Fabrics Ltd., will now operate as HHI Homestead Holdings, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of London Fog Industries. Mr. Greenstein will also assume a position on the board of directors of London Fog Industries.

“We are building an entrepreneurial company that can move quickly to bring new products to market across diverse categories,” said David Greenstein. “We see excellent growth opportunities for the Pacific Trail, Moonstone and Black Dot brands and will ensure that the integrity of these brands is maintained as they grow. Our outdoor and sporting goods customers will benefit from the fresh new products we will offer for Fall ’05. As a company, we will also become more meaningful to a wide range of retail customers as we are now able to offer across-the-board opportunities-brands and private label, as well as exciting new product development made possible through this new entity.”

As former president of Homestead, David Greenstein posted an impressive track record by taking the company from a start-up to a $100 million business in six years, primarily through sales of private label home products focused on the nation’s largest retailers.

Roger Bird will continue as vice president of sales for Pacific Trail and Black Dot. Hoby Douglass will continue as vice president of sales for Moonstone.

With the addition of the Homestead textile business, London Fog Industries gains an expanded and diversified sourcing infrastructure around the globe that will enable it to enhance its product offerings. A new design team will be put in place under newly appointed creative director Stacy Haase. Ms. Haase’s background includes more than twenty years’ experience in home textiles and home products design. She also recently launched Stacy Haase, an eponymous women’s contemporary fashion ready-to-wear line, critically acclaimed in WWD, Glamour, Marie Claire and Lucky Magazine. Her designs have also been featured on the CBS Early Show and Will and Grace. The Stacy Haase collection is currently available at Saks Fifth Avenue. London Fog Industries has plans to merge the Stacy Haase line into its portfolio of brands in the near future.

“Were bringing a fresh perspective to every one of our collections, with new looks and new thinking,” said Ms. Haase. “Youll start to see this in next season’s lines.”

London Fog Industries’ operations will be divided between its New York and Seattle offices. Greenstein also announced that the company will consolidate the London Fog® trade division and London Fog Factory Outlet Stores into current operations.
