LIVSN Designs released its Ecotrek Trail Shorts, made of the same recycled, technical fabric used to manufacture its Ecotrek Trail Pants. The shorts are water-resistant, wick moisture and are quick-drying.
The proprietary fabric used to make the brand’s Ecotrek pants, Blue Ocean Nylon, uses a synthetic nylon thread made from 70 percent ocean waste (buoys recovered within 100 miles of the fabric mill) and engineered to wick moisture away from the body.
“Our customers really love the Ecotrek pants, and we have had requests for Ecotrek shorts almost since the very beginning. The quick-dry fabric is a perfect weight for durability and comfort with a nice stretch and has been called out time and again as an ideal choice for travel and outdoor activities,” said LIVSN Designs founder and CEO, Andrew Gibbs-Dabney. “This is also an exciting launch for us as it’s the first time we’ve introduced women’s and men’s versions at the same time, and we’re pleased to have a growing range of products designed for women and a group of customers who swear by our products.”
Women’s Ecotrek Trail Shorts are suitable for wearing in all climates and pursuits. The high-waisted, curve-friendly, athletic-fit shorts have a 4-inch inseam and 2-inch back hem drop with reinforced seams, an internal drawstring, mesh seat liner, and YKK zipper. Five pockets keep personal items secure, including two zippered rear pockets, two deep front pockets, and a hidden zippered EDC pocket. Available in Olive and Charcoal and even waist sizes 0 to 20.
Men’s Ecotrek Trail Shorts include a drawstring, mesh seat liner, 8.5-inch inseam and seven pockets integrated into the shorts to carry and secure essentials. Available in Caramel and Olive and waist sizes 29 through 34, 36, 38, and 40.
The brand’s Fair Deal Guarantee covers all LIVSN products—a manufacturer’s warranty through which the company will repair, refund or replace a product at no charge due to a manufacturer defect, and the repair and replacement program, through which LIVSN will repair its clothing due to normal wear and tear at cost, no markup. If an item is not repairable, the company offers a steep discount on the purchase of a new article.
