Life is Good has named consumer marketing veteran Karen Lyon as vice president of marketing and licensing executive Linne Kimball as vice president of strategic partnerships. Lyon and Kimball will play a crucial role in growing the $100 million brand as they guide marketing, licensing, and strategic partnership efforts.
As vice president of marketing, Lyon will be responsible for driving awareness, engagement, and supporting product sales by leading the brand’s integrated marketing efforts. In her role as vice president of strategic partnerships, Kimball will work with president, Lisa Tanzer to set the strategy for expanding the brand through licensing and collaborations that will fuel Life is Good brand awareness, grow market reach, and deliver revenue.

Karen Lyon brings more than two decades of strategic planning and marketing experience to Life is Good with a proven track record of designing successful brand building and business-driving initiatives across multiple channels and industries. Prior to Life is Good, Lyon held executive marketing roles at Swarovski North America, Ideapaint, and The Rockport Company. At Swarovski, Lyon provided marketing leadership that helped drive business growth from $100 million to $350 million and successfully repositioned the brand from a collectable manufacturer to a luxury fashion and home décor brand. Additionally, she serves as a business and marketing advisor at Rustic Marlin Designs. Lyon received her BS from Bryant University, and an MBA from Bentley University.
With nearly two decades of experience demonstrating results in both building and growing a licensing business and partner network, Linne Kimball has led licensing for many retail brands from sports, electronics, lifestyle to fashion. Prior to Life is Good, Kimball held directing and executive positions at Reebok, William Morris Endeavor/IMG, and Polaroid Corporation. For Reebok, Linne led Reebok’s global licensing division, and personally negotiated and closed over thirty new licensing deals, significantly increasing overall royalty revenues. Kimball received both a BA and BS at Tufts University and an MBA and MS at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
