Li Ning Company Ltd said order volume for its third fiscal quarter
slumped 17% year-on-year for both footwear and apparel products but that
average selling prices increased about 10%.
Overall, the Chinese footwear and apparel company indicated its “order value,” or revenues, decreased 8% based on tagged retail price while sliding 14% based on sell-in price.
Li Ning earlier this month projected order growth would decline in the third and fourth quarters compared to the previous two quarters, but saw a slight improvement in store sales for 2011.
