The executive board of Ski Utah/Utah Ski & Snowboard Association today decided to change the leadership of the association effective immediately. A nationwide search for a new executive director will be conducted.
“Kip Pitou has done a great job and brought us a long way within the past few years. The executive board, however, felt it was time for our organization to now move in a different direction and decided to make this change in our leadership at this time” said executive board president F. Scott Pierpont.
Last season's record snowfall and resort visits coupled with additional funding from the Utah Office of Tourism will have major impact on Utah's ski industry in the years to come. The executive board felt it was imperative to capitalize on this great opportunity with a new leader for the association. With this change come great expectations for the future of Ski Utah/Utah Ski & Snowboard Association and Utah's winter tourism industry.
