Lax Ammunition, the Southern California ammunition retailer, opened its fourth store in San Marcos, CA, on October 2. Freedom Munitions, LLC owns Lax Ammunition after Fernandez Holdings, Inc. purchased the company and franchise in the summer of 2022.
“The expansion of Lax Ammunition into other California locations is a necessary step in our overall growth plans. Lax is well known to Californians and provides them with the means to purchase their preferred ammo, which is heavily regulated in California,” said Toby Thill, president of Freedom Munitions.
Lax Ammunition San Marcos is located at 705 Center Dr, San Marcos, CA 92069. The company’s other store locations in Southern California are in Inglewood, Orange County and San Diego, with Lax’s flagship in Inglewood connected to Lax Range, a full-service firing range.
