Lafuma said it will take over distribution of the skiwear brand KILLY in the U.S. market. The French brand was launched in 1975.

Since the creation, Jean Claude Killy still plays a key roll in the brand. Jean-Claude’s infamous accomplishment of winning 3 gold medals in the 1968 Grenoble Olympic Games has yet to be replicated. This success has led him to many other challenges in the world of sport. In 1992, he was the co-president of the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. Currently, Jean Claude is the Chairman of the IOC Coordination Commission, for the Winter Olympic Games to take place in Sochi, Russia in 2014.
