Kohl’s announced that Arianne Parisi, most recently chief digital officer for JD Sports Fashion Plc, has been named the retailer’s chief digital officer.

In this role, Parisi will be responsible for driving Kohl’s digital business through Kohls.com and the Kohl’s App, and supporting the broader business focus on enhancing the omnichannel customer experience.

Starting on July 28, Parisi will join the company’s executive leadership team and report directly to Interim CEO Michael Bender.

“We are excited for Arianne to join Kohl’s,” said Bender. “Arianne’s deep experience leading digital teams at omnichannel retailers will allow her to hit the ground running and help us in our efforts to enhance our customers’ experience whenever they shop with us, strengthen the total business, and improve, simplify, and drive the digital experience. Her focus on driving results while also supporting and developing high-performing teams makes her a great fit for the Kohl’s team.”

At JD Sports, Parisi was most recently the EVP and global chief digital officer since February 2023. She joined JD Sports in March 2022 as SVP North America and chief digital officer after spending nearly six years at Finish Line, which JD Sports acquired in 2018. Her last role at Finish Line was as SVP of digital operations and customer experience.

Parisi also spent nearly four years at Nordstrom, including a stint as director of e-commerce after beginning her career in merchandising at The Sports Authority.

“As the pace of retail transformation accelerates, Kohl’s can uniquely serve today’s families,” said Parisi. “I’m honored to join and support our incredible teams as we enhance the digital experience for our 60 million customers, creating a seamless, inspiring, and personalized journey that reflects how they shop and live today.”
