Kitsbow and Swift Industries announced the launch of the Swift Anchor Pack and specialty Icon Shirt melding Swift’s adventure aesthetic and Kitsbow’s tech-forward design.
The Pack, a collaboration between the Kitsbow and Swift design teams, offers a minimalistic alternative to backpacks with a streamlined silhouette and 2.5-liter capacity.
Designed without adding bulk, key features include an expandable sleeve that secures and protects shed clothing layers made possible with a Pendleton wool lining that tucks away and disappears when not in use. Attachment points were also added for an optional Sidekick Stem Pouch accessory bag.
“There were design elements born of the Kitsbow perspective that we would never have considered,” said Swift’s co-founder, Martina Brimmer. “The Anchor Pack is a wholly new concept and the result of two creative forces coming together to conceive of the coolest possible ideas for functional gear.”
A matching Kitsbow Icon Shirt completes the collection and features Pendleton wool in homage to the PNW mountains that Swift and Pendleton both call home.
The shirt’s fabric commemorates the design collaboration and is the first women’s-specific fit Icon offers in a Pendleton wool plaid previously offered only in its men’s signature version.
“We are two brands that are deeply committed to manufacturing in the U.S., and even more importantly share a foundation of outdoor adventure as a means for investing in the growth of inclusive communities such as Old Fort, NC,” said David Billstrom, Kitsbow CEO. “This limited-edition collaboration embodies the best in our collective inspiration and abilities.”
