Kitsbow, a Sonoma County-based manufacturer of cycling clothing and accessories, is donating 50 percent of its total sales from Friday, November 3 to the Redwood Credit Community Fund. The Community Fund will directly aid the North Bay Fire Relief Fund, supporting the four counties where wildfires destroyed 100,000 acres of land and trails: Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Lake.
“The fires are very personal and close to home for our business,” said Zander Nosler, founder of Kitsbow. “Our friends, family, and neighbors are deeply affected – all have lost some, and some have lost all. We’re in this together.”
In addition to the November 3 sales donation, Kitsbow will be participating in an event on Saturday, November 4 at the Trail House in Santa Rosa. Teaming up with other cycling-friendly and cycling-based businesses like the Cyclist’s Menu, Henhouse Brewery and REMBA, the Trail House event will leverage the bike community’s “dig in” ethic. The event will raise funds to rebuild Annadel State Park’s trails after its destruction by the wildfires.
