Shareth Kamal Achanta (Kamal), one of the world's top international
table tennis champions, has agreed to an exclusive endorsement contract
with Chicago-based Killerspin. Kamal, 26, is a native of Tamilnadu,
India, and distinguished himself as the only men's table tennis player
from his country selected to compete in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing,
China.

As the newest member of the Killerspin Krew, Kamal, will represent the
company in promoting the burgeoning sport, now in the midst of dramatic
resurgence in popularity throughout the United States and worldwide. He
will feature and promote Killerspin equipment and apparel in
competitions and exhibition matches, while partnering with the brand as
a spokesperson committed to advancing table tennis' awareness and
growth.

A competitor in the 2008 SPINvitational in Chicago, the world's premier
table tennis charity event, Achanta is ranked the no. 1 player in
India, and became the first Indian to take home the prestigious
Pyongyong Invitational Tournament crown in 2007. He won the gold medal
at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006 and 2004, represented
his country at the Asian Games at Qatar in 2006 and competed at the
2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.
