Igloo Products Corp announced that Jim Morley will step down as president and CEO, effective January 30. He will continue to serve as a member of the companys Board of Directors. Gary Kiedaisch, the companys chairman, will become Igloos Interim president and CEO while a worldwide search for a permanent replacement is conducted. Kiedaisch has been a chief executive for 20-years in the resort, winter sports and outdoor consumer products industries.
Morley agreed. “It has been an honor to lead Igloo in the insulated cooler industry for the last seven years. However, it is time for me to focus on other interests and personal opportunities. I will miss the day-to-day excitement of Igloo, my associates and the many industry friends Ive made over the years. Im delighted that Ive been asked to continue to serve on Igloos Board of Directors.”
Underscoring the importance of strong management, Kiedaisch added, “With David Thornhill onboard, we increase our ability to grow the company and the category, build dealer margins and develop innovative new product for consumers around the world.”
