Kewl International, the U.S. marketer and distributor of KEWL hockey-based apparel, said today that it has been moving forward to create the necessary infrastructure to launch KEWL branded apparel lines in the U.S. and Europe with assistance from a variety of top consultants and a newly formed International Advisory Board.

Domenic Fanelli, president of KEWL International, stated, “We remain extremely excited about the potential for KEWL branded products in the U.S. and Europe, based on continuing discussions with a growing number of interested retailers and distributors.

“Our focus has been the development of a manufacturing system and distribution process that will enable us to meet our anticipated high order rates, while delivering 100 % customer satisfaction. With this phase complete, we have turned to the development of a revitalized and diverse product line. Our traditional Hockey products will be included, however, we will now expand into Youth, Golf and Corporate apparel. Our extended product line will also include extensive entries into high growth segments such as Xtreme sports and Women's sports apparel.

“In this regard, we have been working with several top consultants, two of whom — Anthony Pietramala, a former H.J. Heinz senior executive, and Larry Goldberg, a leading marketing and communication adviser to a variety of leading apparel companies — have formally agreed to join a newly formed Kewl International Advisory Board, and to work closely with us to facilitate a successful product launch in the U.S. and Europe.”

Mr. Fanelli added, “In the weeks ahead we expect to announce further additions from the business and sports world to our Advisory Board as well as additions to our management and sales teams, and the progress we have been making on a variety of other fronts ahead of our launch and anticipated merger with Kewl Corporation of Canada.”
