Kelty will be the exclusive stroller sponsor of Baby Boot Camp, a national mom-and-baby fitness and strength program with classes in more than 160 locations across the United States, Canada, Australia, and Bermuda.
Placing their award-winning Kelty K.I.D.S. strollers in front of active mothers through Baby Boot Camp, Kelty is building on their growing grassroots campaign to reach active women — a coordinated outreach that includes the recent launch of KeltyWoman.com as well as specific marketing and retail strategies.
“For Kelty, this is a remarkable chance to connect with perhaps the most discerning and active consumers of family products — new moms,” said Kenny Ballard, president of Kelty.
Baby Boot Camp offers innovative group exercise classes for new mothers, integrating babies and toddlers into the workout through the use of jogging strollers. By teaming mother and child in an organized workout program, Baby Boot Camp helps to improve spirits, create new friendships — and deliver a great workout.
“Women need energy and strength to care for babies and toddlers, so building physical fitness and strength is our focus. But the social aspect of our classes is equally important,” said Kristen Horler, founder and CEO of Baby Boot Camp. “While children enjoy being outdoors and having the chance to socialize with other kids, mothers also thrive on the chance to meet other new parents and share experiences.”
Kelty will provide the Kelty K.I.D.S. Speedster Deluxe Stroller winner of the 2005 JPMA Innovation Award to select Baby Boot Camp franchises. With more than 300 classes per week, Baby Boot Camp students and instructors will provide Kelty with invaluable real world feedback.
Additional partnership benefits include co-branding opportunities for Baby Boot Camp and Kelty K.I.D.S. strollers and accessories; as well as in-store promotions linking Kelty K.I.D.S. products to local Baby Boot Camp programs.
