Keen is launching a series of events in support of Uneek, its open-air footwear. Keen’s Innovation Program Lead and Uneek designer Rory Fuerst, Jr. and Keen team members will visit core Keen cities to support the launch of this exciting new product with retailers while bringing amplified awareness for the brand.
Hosting events in Minneapolis and Denver, the happy-hour-style evenings will give retailers the opportunity to experience Uneek up close and personal as Fuerst, Jr. unveils how Uneek was created, and how Keen is advancing the footwear landscape.
“Having the chance to spend face-to-face time with Uneek retailers is invaluable and is our way of celebrating a brand defining product, and the people who are helping us launch it,” said Fuerst, Jr..

With more than two years of R&D, Uneek disrupts the norm of footwear design by ditching traditional manufacturing machinery and conventional materials for a simple free-moving two-cord construction. Uneek by Keen, launches in March with more than 14 colors for men and women, and is an example of the brands unconventional approach to creating category defining footwear that remains true to the brand’s DNA.
