KEEN Inc., announced the appointment of Troy Ballard to the newly formed position of VP of Global Business Development. This role essentially replaces the traditional VP Sales Role to take into consideration the emerging dynamics of the global market.

This new role has been established to further ‘synchronize’ the efforts of the entire organization towards our Customers needs and expectations. As a young company, KEEN has achieved tremendous growth, but realizes there is still tremendous opportunity both domestically and internationally.

Before joining KEEN, Troy has served in a number of Leadership positions with Brands that include adidas, Salomon, Ripcurl, and Icebreaker. He has extensive experience in the Outdoor Industry, he has significant footwear experience, and he has proven International experience.

Troy joined KEEN at the end of 2008 and will take immediate responsibility to transition the Sales Team into a Business Development Team. He will spend his time between Portland and Sun Valley, where he truly lives a hybridlife with his wife and family.
