Keen Inc. announced that Tyler LaMotte has been promoted to chief marketing officer (CMO).

After more than 18 months as the company’s first-ever global vice president of brand marketing, LaMotte has been elevated to CMO for Keen, recognizing his many contributions to the Keen brand. In his new role as CMO, LaMotte will continue to position Keen as an enduring brand, and create deeper engagement with existing and new Keen fans.

During his tenure as global vice president of brand marketing, LaMotte continuously demonstrated strong leadership skills and an ability to drive the brand forward. Among many contributions to Keen, LaMotte developed a new brand platform based on Keen’s core values, designed to propel the brand forward through the idea of taking positive action. Now, LaMotte will play a critical role on the Keen executive leadership team as CMO.

Bringing years of industry experience and a proven track record of successful brand marketing, LaMotte lead and oversaw the global marketing efforts and messaging across all product categories at Keen as the global vice president of brand marketing. He successfully extended the reach and impact of Keen across its retail channels and consumer fan base. Prior to joining Keen, LaMotte spent two-plus decades in brand marketing for product, category management and technology. LaMotte served as Apple’s senior marketer, worldwide product marketing and held senior positions at both Patagonia and Adidas International AG.
