Kazmaier Associates, Inc. has promoted Bob Ruxin to president, succeeding founder Dick Kazmaier, who will serve as chairman.   The Concord, Mass.-based company has provided sports advisory services since 1975 to domestic and international clients and affiliated sports products, marketing, and event businesses.  It is the exclusive North American licensee of Beeman Precision Airgun products.

Kazmaier, the 1951 Heisman Trophy winner, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday, announced the change that will give Ruxin primary responsibility for developing and executing new projects.   Ruxin, who joined the company in 1986 as general counsel, is the author of An Athlete’s Guide to Agents, (5th ed., 2010).

“Bob has a wealth of sports marketing experience,” Kazmaier said.  “His background and abilities will provide an opportunity for new endeavors as well as projects related to our prior activities.”
