Kayland and Igloo Vikski, Inc. have agreed that Igloo Vikski will relinquish the US distribution of Kayland boots back to Kayland at the end of the 2005 product season. Igloo Vikski, based just north of Montreal, will continue to distribute Kayland in Canada. The decision was mutual and is expected to allow both parties to improve service and be more competitive in their respective markets.
The change will begin immediately with Kayland assuming all sales responsibilities for the Spring/Summer 2006 Kayland line. For Fall/Winter 2005, Igloo Vikski will continue to sell and service the Kayland line through the end of February 2006.
Igloo Vikski will continue to be the Canadian distributor and sales agency for Swix, Fischer, DR, and Kayland.
