Panoptx Eyewearappointed Roger Kahn to its board of directors. For more than 30 years, Kahn owned and operated Porter’s Ski & Sport in California’s Tahoe City and Truckee, and in Nevada’s Incline Village. He grew Porter’s from one location and seven employees to a profitable business entity of 70 employees and sales of $7 million. His appointment is effective immediately.

“As a strategic leader with a vast commercial value and network, Roger is a solid addition to the Panoptx board,” said Bob Hall, president and CEO of Panoptx Eyewear. “He brings an extensive knowledge of the retail community, essential to growing the Panoptx brand and bringing more consumers into the Panoptx family.”

For more than 10 years, Kahn was a board member of the Sports Specialist Ltd. Buying Group, located in Victor, New York. In addition, he sits on boards of the Tahoe Forest Hospital District, is the founding board member and chair for Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation, and serves on the boards of the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association and Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation.
