Kaenon reported it is releasing its first signature sunglass collection with two-time MLB All-Star Justin Turner, an ambassador athlete and vested partner in the brand.
The first sunglasses from Kaenon in the Justin Turner Signature Collection includes two versions of the Arcata SR, Turner’s preferred model for on-field play for the Boston Red Sox. The Arcata SR is available with a matte white or matte grey frame, with Kaenon’s polarized SR-91 Ultra Red mirrored lens, Turner’s signature color, providing color separation with depth and detail, suited for various on-field light conditions.
“Sunglasses are vital equipment when players are on the field and can make a huge difference in a player’s ability to follow the ball. The Arcata SR’s lightweight and semi-rimless design makes it barely noticeable when I’m playing, and the Ultra Red mirrored lens is perfect for a wide range of light conditions,” commented Turner.
The design of the Kaenon Arcata SR combines an 8-base lens with a semi-rimless design with peripheral and downward vision and no blind spots. Other features include lightweight, flexible TR-90 frame material, hypoallergenic nose pads and grip tips on the temples. The Arcata SR comes with a protective micro-fiber sunglass bag featuring a custom graphic that includes Turner’s signature and a hard case for travel protection.
