K-Swiss appointed Michael Augustine as director of apparel, worldwide. Under the company's president of worldwide apparel, Alden Sheets, Augustine will be charged with overseeing design and development and merchandising for all of the label's inline performance apparel, global special make up product, and co-branded collections including Ironman, LA Marathon and Jillian Michaels.

Augustine's career in the apparel industry began in 1993 as an import production manager at Proknit Apparel.  In 1996 he served as a production manager at Tommy Hilfiger USA, which he held for two years before taking over the position of senior commercialization manager of basketball apparel at Nike Inc. In this role, Augustine directed product development, creating a line from concept through commercialization for an $84 million business. In 2001 Augustine became product line manager at Adidas International. In his six years at Adidas, Augustine also fulfilled the roles of category product marketing manager and director of product marketing. Most recently, Augustine served as the owner of RoxyDogCreative, a company offering complete brand packaging and marketing strategies to small and new businesses.
