Nike Inc. said Jordan Brand’s Jumpman logo will appear on all NBA Statement Edition uniforms beginning with the 2020/21 season.

The Statement Edition uniform is one of the league’s alternate jerseys worn for big games or rivalries usually featuring an alternate color scheme. The logo will appear on the right shoulder of the jersey and left leg of the short for all 30 Statement Edition uniforms replacing the Nike swoosh. The jerseys will be available at retail in October 2020.

“Each season, the Statement Edition designs set the tone for key matchups and are inspired by NBA teams making a bold statement every time they step onto the court — a natural connection to Jordan Brand’s namesake and his approach to the game,” Nike said in a statement. “The inclusion of the Jumpman logo on Statement Edition uniforms expands Jordan Brand’s connection to all 30 NBA franchises.”

Nike noted that since 2017 the Charlotte Hornets have been outfitted by Jordan Brand and the brand has supplied the NBA All-Star Game uniforms for three years in a row. The brand also maintains relationships with select collegiate programs and with football club Paris Saint-Germain.

The Nike swoosh will continue to appear on regular home and away uniforms. Nike replaced Adidas as the NBA’s official supplier of apparel in the 2017/18 season.
