Johnson Outdoors Inc. announced that an inquiry by the European Commission {of the European Union} has been concluded, with no further action warranted and no fine imposed.
In February 2003, the competition department of the European Commission initiated formal proceedings in the case, which concerned former distribution arrangements for the Company's European Diving subsidiaries. Johnson Outdoors cooperated fully with the inquiry, and responded to the Commission's views at a hearing last summer.
