Jim Hill, SportHill's founder and president, was presented with the Leo Harris Award on Saturday, October 16, 2004. The presentation occurred during half time at the University of Oregon Homecoming game at Eugene's Autzen Stadium.

The Leo Harris Award is presented annually to an alumnus letterman who has been out of college for a minimum of twenty years and who has demonstrated continued service and leadership to the University of Oregon.

Jim Hill was a letterman at U of O in both track (1980-1984) and cross-country (1980-1983) and represented the US at the World Track and Field Championships in 1983. On the All-Time Oregon Men's Performers List, Hill stands 6th on the Ducks' 5,000-meter and mile lists, and 9th on the 1,500-meter list. Following graduation, Hill remained in Eugene, ran professionally, and went on to found SportHill in 1985.
