Jetset Pilates, the Miami, FL-based Reformer Pilates franchise, is expanding into the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia) region.

The company will open its first studio in the Navy Yard in Washington, DC, early spring 2025 and said specific details on the location and opening date will be forthcoming.

Jetset Pilates noted in a media release that it will expand in targeted key cities, including Washington, D.C., Arlington, Alexandria and Bethesda, with plans to open eight to 10 studios across the region.

“We believe in cultivating a deep sense of community within our studios, something that resonates throughout our franchise model,” said Tamara Galinsky, founder and brand president, Jetset Pilates. “Our expansion into the DMV provides a unique opportunity for local entrepreneurs to embrace our ethos and bring Jetset’s premium Pilates experience to their neighborhoods. The market has been underserved for luxury Pilates, and we’re excited to fill that gap by offering a fresh, modern approach to fitness.”

The company said, “DMV’s growing demand for premium fitness options and focus on health and wellness makes it the perfect next market for the brand’s nationwide expansion.” The business model is not “just about fitness; it’s about creating a lifestyle and fostering authentic connections within each community it serves.”

“We’re thrilled to bring Jetset Pilates to the DMV,” said Bert Albertse, CEO, Jetset Pilates. “We are actively seeking dedicated franchise owners who are passionate about delivering an exceptional fitness experience. Our proven franchise model offers a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to invest in the booming wellness industry, and we’re looking for partners who share our vision to grow Jetset into thriving communities.”
