The 11th Gore Speaker Breakfast at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market will feature Jerry Greenfield, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's, as its guest speaker. The breakfast will run from 7:30 A.M. until 9:00 A.M. on Friday, August 12 at the Salt Lake Marriott in downtown.

Jerry Greenfield and his partner Ben Cohen have grown the Ben and Jerrys brand from modest sales at a gas station in Vermont to a worldwide phenomenon, with devoted consumers in 20 countries, from Singapore to Sweden.
Since its inception, the Ben & Jerrys brand has been synonymous with social and environmental responsibility. The company based its mission statement around the founders core values, those of “ promoting business practices that respect the earth and the environment.”
While delivering a superior product certainly contributed to their success, it was their passion for people and the planet that differentiated them from their competitors and gained them global respect and recognition.
