Jeannie Thoren, the pioneer of women’s-specific ski equipment, joins Dynastar as the company shows its continued commitment to making the best women’s ski equipment on the planet. Thoren will wear many hats as a part of Dynastar/Lange from running an In shop promotions Tour next fall, to providing insight into product direction and development.

Thoren chose to join Dynastar/Lange based on the companies continued commitment to bettering their women’s equipment. Thoren says that Dynastar/Lange was the only manufacturer willing to “go beyond forward mounted bindings and cuff flares for women’s boots.” Thoren decided to join Dynastar because she knew Dynastar was the company that would help her to raise the bar for the entire industry, which is her ultimate goal.
“Dynastar has been one of the few companies that truly listened to me and women, in their efforts to create better ski products for women. I chose to join the Dynastar team because they are allowing me to truly become engaged in the product direction and design. I’m confident that together we can really make a difference for women skiers everywhere.”

For over 30 years, Jeannie Thoren has been a tireless crusader for women skiers everywhere. Her own search for self-improvement lead to a thorough understanding of equipment modifications and the roles they play in helping women master skiing.
“Jeannie is the foremost authority on the product needs of the fastest growing segment in skiing…women. The decision to work together was based on a mutual desire to elevate the importance of women-specific product and communicat e how Lange and Dynastar are at the forefront of this movement. We are proud of our new relationship with Jeannie and we know that she will be a unique asset to our retail partners” said Chris Licata, President of Skis Dynastar, Inc.

Jeannie’s role at Dynastar/Lange will incorporate product direction and development for all facets of the Exclusive line including: skis, boots and poles. She will be Dynastar’s “Shepardess,” of the Exclusive line. Jeannie will also be touring the nation next fall bringing Dynastar Exclusive clinics to selected shops. She will bring her expertise to the skiing public by running in store promotions, on snow training and educating shop employees. Dynastar and Jeannie look forward to a long prosperous future together, where women’s equipment goes from the problem, to the solution for women’s skiing.
