J. C. Penney Corporation, Inc. and its subsidiary, J. C. Penney Mexico, Inc., announced Monday that it has successfully completed the sale of its six Mexico department stores to Grupo Sanborns S.A. de C.V. of Mexico City. The sale transaction, which was announced on October 29, 2003, was effective November 30, 2003.
