Jayne Davison, the Director of Merchandising for the Tournament Players Club Network for the past 25 years, has announced her retirement from the PGA TOUR, effective this coming July 1.
Davison has directed and provided the leadership for the award-winning TPC golf retail operations since the flagship Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass opened in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL in 1980. Now with 25 Clubs within
the Network, the TPC retail golf operations have been recognized 96 times by Golf World Business Magazines Top 100 Golf Shop Operations in America Awards since their inception in 1986. These awards annually recognize the
finest golf retail operations in America, measuring both business performance and overall presentation.
Additionally, Davison provided the oversight in TOUR event golf retail merchandising at over 240 TOUR tournaments at Tournament Players Clubs since 1982, when THE PLAYERS Championship first moved to the TPC at Sawgrass. She also has been instrumental in training and development of
TPC General Managers, Head Golf Professionals and club staff members in golf retail.
