Fanatics, Inc. announced the appointment of Jamie Davis as president. Davis, 45, most recently served as president of Versus, now the NBC
Sports Network, where he oversaw the network’s day-to-day programming,
production, digital media, marketing, finance and sales operations,
while also directing and executing an overall strategic growth plan and
vision for the network.

“We are excited to welcome Jamie to the Fanatics family. With more than 20 years of sports industry experience, I am confident that his leadership and guidance will help us grow our brand and continue to build upon the successes of our company,” said Alan Trager, the CEO and Founder of the company.

Davis added, “I am thrilled to be joining Fanatics and believe the organization is at a very exciting point in its development. I look forward to working with the team to further strengthen the strong foundation built by Alan and to help him bring Fanatics to an even higher level.”

With Davis at the helm, Versus became the fastest growing sports cable network in the United States and delivered unprecedented growth in ratings, distribution and profitability.

Prior to Versus, Davis served as managing director of ESPN STAR Sports (ESS), a joint venture between News Corporation and The Walt Disney Company. ESS is Asia's leading sports broadcaster with 15 television networks across 24 countries, including China, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea and the Philippines. Under his leadership, Davis redefined the vision for the company, transforming it from a television broadcaster to a digital multimedia content provider, and oversaw unprecedented financial growth.

Before joining ESPN STAR Sports, Davis worked for News Corporation for 11 years in various roles, including a four-year stint as the President of Star China. He was also a member of the FOX Sports launch team and served as an original member of the senior management in that organization.

Davis is a graduate of Colgate University in New York with a Bachelor of Arts. He received his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
