JAM Media Collective, a boutique public relations agency specializing in outdoor, bike, accessories and eco-friendly consumer products has announced its move from San Francisco to a new, larger office in downtown Mill Valley, CA, under the shadow of Mount Tamalpais.

“We have been experiencing terrific growth in recent years, with a number of new, exciting clients, from Icebreaker to Nau, and simply outgrew our office in San Francisco,” said Julie Atherton, JAM Media Collective principal. “We’re thrilled not only to have a larger space, but to be able to personally test our clients’ products on the trails of Mt. Tam.”

Atherton founded JAM Media Collective in 1995 in San Francisco. She and her team specialize in brand storytelling, product placement, social media outreach, strategic partnerships and events. Through a creative combination of editor events, trade shows as well as editorial, entertainment and art world relationships, JAM has been able to initiate brand visibility and further connect its clients with consumers. JAM currently has more than 15 leading outdoor industry clients, including, KEEN, Moving Comfort, Icebreaker, Osprey Packs, Nau and LOOK Cycle.

Atherton’s long career in brand development includes a variety of successful and unique companies. Prior to forming JAM, Atherton started a creative agency that worked with companies such as Oral-B, Old Navy, Levi Strauss and Richey Bikes. She has also worked in marketing for The North Face, Sierra Designs and Head Skiwear.
