Jack Wolfskin has filled the last spot in its development team by hiring Daniele Grasso as senior product manager for apparel shells. Grasso is responsible for the major weather-protection department, including the company's Texapore technology.

Most recently, Daniele Grasso worked for Sympatex as director apparel and was in charge of the global positioning of the functional textiles brand. Prior to this, he was European sales manager at Toray and area sales manager at C.F. Ploucquet.

“We’re delighted to have such a well-known specialist in functional weather-protection gear on board as Daniele Grasso, who can look back on 15 years of international experience”, says Christian Brandt, chief operating officer at Jack Wolfskin. “He is a fine addition to our apparel product management team”.

The shirts, insulation and pants department is already represented by Peter Krause, who came to Jack Wolfskin from ASICS, while Nadine Priester will be making an internal move and will head the Kids department from winter 2013.
