La Sportiva is celebrating its 90th anniversary with a slew of new apparel and footwear. Just in its climbing line, there are four new shoe models and enhancements to two more.
Among the newbies is GeckoGym.
The GeckoGym is a climbing shoe designed specifically for indoor use. It’s washable, thanks to uppers made from WashTex 3 layer fabric and the use of special adhesives. And a new FriXion White non-marking outsole means your smearing won’t mark up indoor climbing walls. The wide sole is aimed at making beginners comfortable, while the Velcro lacing system makes the shoe easy to pull on and off as you trade belays with your buddy.
