Ironclad Performance Wear in partnership with Vibram announces the launch of the Ironclad Industrial Impact Glove line at the National Safety Conference (NSC).
The line will debut eight new styles incorporating Vibram technology. All of the gloves feature an impermeable palm with unparalleled grip performance. In independent durability and performance tests, Ironclad's new glove line achieved up to 900 percent more grip and abrasion resistance over leading products.
In conjunction with the Industrial Impact collection, Ironclad is also introducing Ironclad Visual Engineering (IVE). IVE, a breakthrough in back of hand protection, is a patent pending optical technology that extends the field of visual recognition. The IVE system is designed to enhance the contrast between the palm and the back of hand, enabling workers and operators to see and recognize hand signals easier, and from a further distance.
“This is the first step in leveraging the significant technology base that Vibram has developed to set new standards for protective and performance gloves,” commented Jeff Cordes, president and CEO of Ironclad. “Combining Vibram's palms with Ironclad's new patent pending IVE back of hand technology resets the bar for performance glove solutions.”
“We are excited about this new opportunity to leverage Vibram technology in the industrial safety market,” commented Michael V. Gionfriddo, Vibram President and CEO for the USA. “This is a great application of Vibram technology that will enhance worker safety and performance. We look forward to the development of exciting new products as Vibram and Ironclad expand our market reach.”
