Interbike is adding 140,000 square feet of additional exhibition space for the 2011 edition of its International Bicycle Expo, to better integrate the concurrent Health+Fitness Business show. Interbike, which takes place Sept. 14-16, will now take up two floors of the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. The new space will allow Interbike to include demo areas on each floor and an expanded Interbike Café and Urban Legend Lounge.

As part of the expansion, Health+Fitness Business (HFB) will be held on the same dates and will be integrated into the same exhibit space as Interbike. In 2010, HFB was held on concurrent dates in the adjacent Venetian Ballrooms.

“We added the new space to accommodate exhibitors and attendees requests' for larger booths, new brands, expanded demo areas, lounges, events and cafes,” said Andy Tompkins, Interbike and Health+Fitness Business show director. “Adding the street level hall to the mix helps us accomplish that and maintain the success of the show for returning exhibitors.”

The main entrance for both shows will be on the street level floor of the Sands Convention Center (Hall G) and will include space for registration, new products, Interbike Café, Urban Legend Lounge and NBDA Super Seminar conference rooms. Newly installed escalators will integrate the two floors and provide easy access to the upper expo floor, which will showcase the traditional layout of returning Interbike exhibitors. HFB exhibit space will be on the street level of the Sands. See an overview of new layout here.

The further integration of the HFB Expo with Interbike 2011 is a response to the successful co-location of the two shows this year. HFB was held in The Venetian Las Vegas Hotel next to Interbike, and demonstrated how compatible the bike and fitness industries are and created multiple opportunities for attendees and exhibitors to meet and conduct business.

Contract renewals for the OutDoor Demo (September 12-13, 2011 in Boulder City) and Interbike Expo (September 14-16 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas) are now available online.
