Injinji, the performance sock company, announced its sponsorship of The Western States Endurance Run – the world’s preeminent and oldest 100-mile race – for the third consecutive year.  As the official race sock, Injinji Performance Toesocks will be provided to each runner registered for the June 25 event, which takes racers from Squaw Valley to Auburn, CA, on a remote and rugged trail marked by vertical ascents and extreme temperatures.

“Were thrilled to once again be the official sock of Western States,” said Jason Battenfield, CEO of Injinji. “It’s an honor to support this historical event that draws athletes of an exceptional caliber.”

“We couldnt be more pleased to have Injinji back as one of our most important and valued sponsors,” said John Trent, president of Western States. “As an innovative, cutting-edge product that has been a game changer for thousands of trail runners throughout the world, it fits the Western States 100 ethic perfectly. Both stand for being on the vanguard of endurance endeavors. Both have helped runners stretch limits. Both have reminded athletes that anything is possible. Both represent quality of the highest order.”
