ImPACT Applications, Inc., developers of post-concussion assessment technologies, and GotSoccer LLC have agreed to a three year exclusive arrangement to bring baseline concussion testing to the youth soccer market. The partnership will enhance player safety and make it easier for soccer associations, clubs and coaches to adhere to the concussion laws in each state. The baseline test can be taken on a personal computer with a mouse and costs $7.50 per test. The program is scheduled to launch in June, 2014.

“When The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) makes a safety recommendation that affects our players, we take it seriously,” said Bill Cameron, Director of GotSoccer. “The CDC's recommendation that all children ages 10 and up who play team sports should have a baseline concussion test each year was a catalyst in establishing the partnership with ImPACT.”

“ImPACT is delighted to collaborate with GotSoccer in a nationwide effort to promote athlete health and safe return to play,” said Michael Wahlster, chief executive officer of ImPACT Applications. “GotSoccer's broad reach into the sport of youth soccer will provide players across the country with convenient, inexpensive access to reliable neurocognitive baseline testing.”

GotSoccer is the nation's leading database management system maintaining over 2 million active player and 200,000 active coach accounts. GotSoccer's software is used by more than 2,000 youth soccer clubs and associations.
