To reduce the environmental impact of outdoor recreation, iKamper reported it found “a unique solution to combat material waste with the new ReCovery Collection.”
iKamper’s ReCovery Collection of camp products invests in sustainable manufacturing methods with “innovative” designs.
The ReCovery Collection includes a rain poncho, firewood carrier, apron, and daily tote bag, which was created with repurposed textiles from the manufacturing of iKamper’s Skycamp 2.0 rooftop tents. Each product is made from the poly/cotton canvas or rainproof ripstop polyester used in the making of the tents.
“By giving a second life to unused materials common to our renowned rooftop tent lines, we’re not only reducing waste but also creating unique and functional products that tell a story,” said Erik Flink, director of Marketing and eCommerce at iKamper. “We hope that our customers will join us in this journey towards a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.”
