Sims snowboards is pleased to announce that Iikka Backstrom is now riding for Sims. Iikka will one of three riders that will be endorsing the new Protocol series. At 18 Iikka is one of the most well-known and marketed riders across the globe. He already has two years of video parts with Kingpin productions and this yea he will be filing with Dysfunctional films, the new Sean Johnson project that is due to be released in fall 2004. Iikka will be spending most of his time in Whistler filming and shooting photos.

Sims Snowboards has continued to advance snowboarding and snowboarding related products since Toms first wood-shop class project in 1963. To this day, Sims Snowboards manufactures snowboards, boots, outerwear and Link bindings as an alternative to the common winter sports pastime.
