The Health and Fitness Trade Association IHRSA hired Katie Philipp as the education and events manager. She joins the association after almost two decades of working in the wellness industry in various roles.
Philipp will develop the IHRSA’s curriculum for IHRSA’s headlining events, which include the IHRSA Convention & Trade Show and the European Congress. She will solicit presenters from inside and outside the health and fitness industry for expert insights.
Philipp spent over a decade with Mindbody, where she was said to be “instrumental in building curriculum for various celebrated customer education programs and oversaw content and programming for Mindbody Bold and Mindbody University.” More recently, she was reportedly a consultant with studios, fit tech platforms and marketing agencies. She reportedly brings a wealth of experience working in the boutique fitness space and has expansive knowledge of fitness franchise operations.
