Icebreaker has signed on as the official adventure apparel partner of the CamelBak Pursuit Series.
Located just outside Salt Lake City and San Francisco, the series’ inaugural year will see the two three-day event series touch down at Snowbasin Mountain Resort, UT on Aug. 11-13 with additional dates planned for September in Sanborn County Park, CA. The Outbound Collective, an online outdoor and travel community, and CamelBak are behind the series.
Icebreaker Head of Marketing for North America Trudie Abel said, “We share the same philosophy on encouraging people to enjoy the great outdoors and connect together in nature to create memorable experiences. We are committed to the series as it is close to our own brand values and our relationship with people and nature. We have a number of ‘get-involved’ sessions including; ‘How To layer merino’, hosted hikes led by our Backcountry partner Gearheads and Leave No Trace, and also have Kiwi inspired music lessons and after dark entertainment from Kiwi musician, Matt Hoyles.”
Pursuit Series Co-Founder Julia Stamps Mallon emphasized, “CamelBak Pursuit Series is about showcasing the beautiful accessibility of the outdoors, so whether you’re a camper or a glamper, downhill mountain-biker or a SUP boarder, there’s an amazing activity and an enlightening experience for you. Our aim is to inspire a connection to nature, and Icebreaker gives Pursuers the opportunity to engage with Icebreaker ambassadors and Backcountry Gearheads in the most authentic, enjoyable and educational way possible.”
