Croakies, the manufacturer of outdoor retention products, signed on as associate sponsor and the exclusive eyewear retainer of the 2017 Pacific Paddle Games. The games take place from September 30 to October 1 in Dana Point, CA.

This marks Croakies’ first year as a sponsor of the Pacific Paddle Games, demonstrating the brand’s top-down commitment on further supporting the standup paddle market.

“Over the past 40 years, the West Coast has consistently been a strong region for the Croakies brand,” explains Chris McCullough, Croakies VP marketing. “With a commitment to better serving the water sports and core standup paddle communities through product innovation and outreach, Pacific Paddle Games reflects an exciting opportunity for reaching a highly-engaged audience, while putting our latest and greatest products on display.”

As part of Croakies’ overall event sponsorship, and in addition to a multi-tiered on-site presence that will serve to further celebrate the brand’s 40th Anniversary, Croakies will provide all event competitors with an exclusive Pacific Paddle Games-branded eyewear retainer. Through its vendor tent, the brand will also feature a wide range of its 2017 product line and 40th Anniversary product collection for sale.

“SUP magazine is beyond excited to partner with Croakies for the 2017 Pacific Paddle Games,” says SUP editor-in-chief Will Taylor. “Keeping your eyewear safe when you go for a spill is a critical component of standup paddling and no one does it better than Croakies!”

Exclusive PPG-branded Croakies products, including belts, eyewear retainers, and dog collars and leashes will also be for sale through the event merchandise tent during the duration of the 2017 Pacific Paddle Games.
