Human, an all-day activity tracker app that uses anonymized data to help people be more active and learn about their cities, joined open source company Mapbox. The partnership is intended to change the way people move around cities and understand the planet.
“Almost four years ago we started Human with the crazy idea to turn your phone into a friendly all-day activity tracker. Today we’re excited to announce that Human is joining Mapbox,” said the Human team in a blog post.
The post continued to say that Human is eager to “join the Mapbox team of 175 very talented people and work together on amazing products that can make a positive impact on our lives. The culture and mission of Mapbox is so well-aligned with what we believe in.”
