Honey Stinger announced several promotions and new hires aimed at supporting the company’s rapid sales growth across all categories.

Long-time team member Chris Tamucci has been named the brand’s first director of operations. He will oversee all IT, warehouse, customer service and operations staff. Tamucci has been a member of the staff since 2006, working in several different capacities including sales, IT and warehouse operations.

“The exciting growth that we have seen over the past few years has allowed us to increase the size of our crew and offer new challenges to veteran team members like Chris,” states Honey Stinger co-founder and president Bill Gamber. “With sales continuing to increase across all categories, we are fortunate to have such enthusiastic and talented folks on board to help build the brand and strengthen our infrastructure.”

In response to greater participation at events across the country, Kat Fagan has transitioned from the sales team to events coordinator, a newly created role within the marketing department. Honey Stinger continues to increase its expo and sampling presence at competitive events, national trade shows and grassroots community events.

Marketing has also added graphic designer Kyle Olsen to the team to help with increased project demand. Craig Rench joins the sales team from the operations staff of Steamboat Springs-based brand Big Agnes and will focus on bicycle category sales. The company has also expanded IT and warehouse departments with the addition of former Smartwool staff member Steven Geer and Bill Martorano, respectively.
