Hoka One One, a division of Deckers Brands, launched its first apparel collection for fitness and outdoor enthusiasts.
Available online-only, the 27-piece assortment runs the gamut from tops to socks to hats with performance and comfort in mind. The collection also includes men’s and women’s lifestyle pieces for casual wear.
“Our mission at Hoka is to empower athletes of all types to feel like they can fly, and that mission frequently leads us to break new ground in creating products that will out-perform the competition,” said Wendy Yang, President of Hoka One One. “Our new apparel line includes previously unseen designs meant to meet the unique needs of the Hoka consumer. Equally important, we believe no athlete should have to choose between technology designed for high-level performance and a comfortable fit and feel. This new collection provides both, so everyone can feel ready to take on the world – or fly over it.”
Hoka designers created the collection based on consumer feedback through a survey that Hoka sent out in 2018. Nearly 4,000 respondents requested high-performance wear for every level and type athlete.
The line works for runners, walkers, fitness-seekers and outdoor adventurers as well as addresses Hoka’s journey toward sustainability. For example, the Unisex Puffy Jacket insulation is made with PrimaLoft which contains 100-percent post-consumer recycled content. While all performance tops are made with Polartec Power Dry fabric, which consists of at least 50-percent recycled fibers.
The collection was photographed on athletes for Hoka’s first coffee-table-style print catalog which will mail to consumers this month. The catalog also features Hoka footwear for a head-to-toe presentation in the booklet.
