Hincapie Sportswear, manufacturer of cycling apparel, hired Dave Pelletier as a sales representative in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  Effective immediately, Pelletier will represent Hincapie for retail cycling apparel and accessory sales to independent bicycle dealers and sell Hincapie custom cycling clothing to clubs and teams in the Northeast.

“I'm really pleased to have someone with Dave's enthusiasm on board,” says Lynn Joslin, Hincapie Sportswear National Sales Manager.  “He has a huge amount of energy and an intense focus that helps him achieve a high level of performance in almost everything he does.  He's also a fashion forward thinking guy, so he's already in tune with the apparel industry.”

Pelletier received his MBA from Boston College following a four year tour with the United States Marine Corp Special Operations Group. He spent 15 years honing his sales and management skills in the software, pharmaceutical and financial services industries before turning his full attention to the bicycle market. As a two-time ironman finisher and USAT Certified Coach, he has an excellent understanding of the triathlon and cycling businesses.  Pelletier will combine his extensive business background with his personal passions to increase sales in his New England territory.  In addition to Hincapie, he will also represent Cervelo and Reynolds in the Northeast.

“Hincapie is a well-known and respected name in my area,” said Pelletier.  “I'm excited to be part of building the Hincapie brand to its rightful place as the market leader in New England.”
