Hincapie Sportswear has hired Scott Hedin as retail sales representatives for the brand in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota. Effective immediately, Hedin will represent Hincapie for retail cycling apparel and accessory sales to independent bicycle dealers and sell Hincapie custom cycling clothing to clubs and teams in his territory. 


We are really focusing on growing our US sales force to help expand our retail distribution, said Rich Hincapie, president of Hincapie Sportswear.  Scott has a great business sense and a passion for the sport.  As a former business owner, he understands the challenges facing bicycle dealers, and we are confident he will help us grow our business in his territory.


Hedin will draw on more than 10 years of personal experience as a successful business owner to help him relate to his bicycle customers more effectively.  As a passionate cyclist and triathlete, he understands the bicycle industry from both the customers and the retailers viewpoint.  Personally, Hedin has cycled across Ireland, pedaled through Italy, and he is currently training for Ironman Wisconsin.  In addition to Hincapie Sportswear, Hedin will represent other premium brands like Blue Competition Cycles, Magura USA and Reynolds Cycling.
