Highgear is sponsoring a fundraiser for Big City Mountaineers during Outdoor Retailer in August. The fundraiser will take place at Highgears booth from 4 – 6pm on day 1 & 2 of the show. By making a donation of $20 or more attendees can receive a new Highgear Enduro trail running watch.
“BCM is extremely fortunate to have Highgear once again leading the way helping our program,” says BCM Executive Director Mark Godley. “For the past three years, Highgear has been incredibly generous in infusing our trips with all of its easy to use and technically advanced navigation and timing products. Were excited to take the relationship to the next level by raising money to get more kids out on the trail through its efforts.”

On Friday afternoon Big City Mountaineers will also be showing a video entitled “City to Summit,” a documentary-type video filmed last summer during one of the summer youth backpack trips.
