Hibbett Sports plans to open a Hibbett Sports location in Richmond, VA and City Gear in Tallahassee, FL.
The Hibbett Sports store is located at 7522 West Broad Street at Merchants Walk in Richmond. A virtual grand opening is for June 5; The store is more than 4,000 square feet. This is the fourth Hibbett Sports location in Richmond.
“Our new location in Merchants Walk gives us an excellent opportunity to serve customers in Northwest Richmond and beyond,” said Ryan Marner, DSM, Hibbett Sports. “We can’t wait to offer our locals the top-tier sneaker and fashion apparel selection they’ve come to expect from Hibbett.”
The City Gear store, at 4,350 square feet, is the second in Tallahassee and is located at 1215 Apalachee Parkway, in the Parkway Village. The in-person grand opening will take place on June 5.
Hibbett, headquartered in Birmingham, AL, has more than 1070 Hibbett Sports and City Gear specialty stores, located in 35 states nationwide.
